Hi, I’m Tyler — a veterinary assistant working toward becoming a licensed vet tech.

The past year has been one of the hardest of my life. After a difficult breakup and eviction, I found myself moving my two dogs — Pete and Winston — four times in less than twelve months. At one point, we were living out of my sister’s garage, and now we’re staying in her basement. It’s been far from easy — cold nights, cramped space, and a constant feeling of being unsettled. But it’s the only roof we’ve had, and I’m grateful to my sister's family for letting us stay while I try to rebuild from the ground up.

I’ve stayed focused on my work in veterinary medicine, helping other people’s pets while quietly fighting to keep my own life together. Between catching up on debts, rebuilding credit after my eviction, and paying for Winston’s medical care, I’ve been stuck in survival mode — never quite able to move forward. Im still currently in the process of paying off bills from the end of 2024 - totaling around 6,000$

Now, Winston — my best friend, my emotional support, and my constant source of comfort — needs surgery estimated around $4,000. He’s helped me through every hard day this year, and I’m determined to help him through this one.

This fundraiser isn’t just about his surgery — it’s about giving us both a fresh start in 2026. A chance to finally live somewhere stable, get caught up on what’s owed, and continue working toward a career that helps animals every day.
