"I have spent my life helping others survive their worst days… I'm just asking for the chance to get through mine."
My name is T. Alan Camp.
I spent nearly 30 years in law enforcement and private investigations, helping people through some of the worst moments of their lives.
Years ago, I was severely injured responding to an active shooter while trying to save others. For my actions, I was later honored by the American Police Hall of Fame and awarded the Medal of Honor, Medal of Valor, and the Purple Heart.
Today, I’m fighting a different battle.
After being misdiagnosed with ALS and told I might not survive, I was later diagnosed with CIDP—a severe neurological disease that has taken my strength, mobility, and independence.
Because of this, I lost my ability to work, lost my home, and had to start over.
Right now, I am living out of my car with everything I have left packed in the back.
I am asking for help to rebuild.
The funds will go toward:
$6,200 – Securing a mobile home for safe, stable housing
Medical travel expenses
Food and daily living needs
Starting a small consulting website so I can work again
My goal is to raise $12,500 to stabilize my life and begin moving forward again.
I’ve spent my life helping others survive their worst days…
I’m just asking for the chance to get through mine.
