From Sandy Survivor to Home Builder

On October 29, 2012 We lost our home and most everything in it when Hurricane Sandy blew the high tide up the Hudson and into our apartment. I can vividly remember the moment I had to carry my wife and son through the raging storm and rising floodwaters to the bucket loader that would carry us and our few bags out of the flooding. We were virtually homeless for over a year.

I vividly remember when we moved into our home in July 2013. It was a culmination of a many miracles. I have not forgotten all the generosity and goodwill that made it possible. I remain grateful.

So I asked my Gong fu Brother Seth Delia if he wanted to go build a home in Mexico and now we have partnered with Leadr to pay it forward and help contribute to a mission to build 10,000 homes for families across Latin America by 2035.
