My name is Dunya Ismail Ghabayen, a Palestinian woman from Gaza. I am married and a mother to a five-year-old son named Ismail.
I had always wished to live in stability and safety, but I am writing this message from beneath the rubble of our destroyed home, which was completely demolished and stripped of everything we owned.
We have been displaced countless times, moving from one place to another in search of shelter.
I am not asking for charity—I am pleading for a second chance, a dignified and decent opportunity for my family, for the sake of survival, to live like everyone else.
I have lost many job opportunities, and I was never given a real chance. My family and I are living under extremely harsh and unstable conditions, lacking even the most basic necessities of life: shelter, food, clothing, and even clean drinking water.
