Hey, Eloise here, and I am doing a fund raiser for my lovely friend Jules who is fighting Stage 4 cancer, here's her story:

Jules, has spent the last 8 years working as a paramedic, giving herself to help others, is now in need of help herself, so I'm putting this out there in the hope that we might be able to make a difference to her life.

On 16th June 2025, a date we will never forget - Jules went in for what was meant to be a day surgery to investigate possible endometriosis. Instead, she was diagnosed with the devesting news of cervical cancer. By that point, it had already spread to her lymph nodes. What followed were months of intensive treatment including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and brachytherapy it was an incredibly tough time, but Jules faced it with so much strength and determination.

In January, there was finally some relief - her scans showed a near complete remission. However, heartbreakingly that relief didn't last. A recent scan in early April confirmed that the cancer has returned and is now in her lungs and abdomen. Jules is now facing stage 4 Metastatic cancer, this means its elsewhere other than the primary tumour.

Her care has been transferred to a new oncology team, where she will begin further treatment including chemotherapy and immunotherapy once again. While the road ahead is uncertain, Jules is determined to fight this with everything she has.

Outside of work, Jules is a devoted mum to her son Austin, a loving partner to Colin, and part of a family completed by her two dogs, Lottie & Buddy - who mean the world to her.

As you can imagine, alongside the physical and emotional toll, there is a significant financial strain while unable to work due to this dreadful disease.

The money raised will help support Jules through her treatment, ease the financial pressure, and most importantly, allow her to spend meaningful time with her family and making memories together whilst she is well enough to do so.

I wanted to set this go fund me page up, as there are so many of us who want to help Jules, but don't know what to do. This will enable Jules to focus on her treatment, her strength and her family. This is one hell of a fight for Jules, but supporting her and her family together, we really are stronger.
