Help Heather Protect Her Children — Legal Fees & Safe Housing Needed by July 21st

I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Heather — a devoted mother who has been courageously fighting to protect her children since 2016. What she’s endured would break most people, but she’s never stopped putting her kids first — not for one moment.

Heather’s children have been through unimaginable emotional, psychological, and physical harm over the years. And Heather has fought tirelessly to bring them home and rebuild their lives in safety and love.

Now, she’s so close — but she can’t cross the finish line without help.

A pivotal court hearing is scheduled for July 21st, and Heather needs to raise over $4,000 in legal fees to ensure her case continues. At the same time, their family is currently living in a cramped two-bedroom apartment, doing the best they can. But they desperately need more space and stability — a safe home where they can breathe, heal, and just be kids again.

Heather has put everything on the line: she’s paused school, spent every spare dollar on court filings and evidence, and exhausted every resource she has.

I also want to recognize Heather’s husband, who has been nothing short of extraordinary throughout this ordeal. He works long hours and still manages to show up emotionally and physically for the family every single day. He’s been right by Heather’s side through every legal step, every heartbreaking moment, and every tough call they’ve had to make. This isn’t just Heather’s battle — it’s theirs together. He’s sacrificed just as much to help ensure the kids are safe and supported, and he deserves just as much gratitude for the role he continues to play behind the scenes. They’re fighting as a team, and they need all the support they can get.
