Sweet & Shiny Columbus has a new home in Clintonville! We couldn't be more excited about this transition from a home-based bakery to a welcoming community space where people can come together to learn and be creative. 

 Owner/operator Elaine Li brings her passion for creative design, teaching and mentoring youth to this latest Sweet & Shiny expansion. Plans for the new location include:

-Providing space to community members to come and teach their craft and art, as well as offering our own culinary workshops.

-Providing an extensive array of cake decorating supplies that can be purchased or borrowed through our one-of-a-kind lending library. 

-Private, 1:1  DIY instruction for aspiring home bakers

-Birthday parties and small group classes

-Apprenticeships for high school students to prepare them for future careers in the culinary arts

Funds raised through this GoFundMe will enable us to ready our new space for all of these activities. Interior work will include electrical and plumbing upgrades and purchasing convection ovens and workstation equipment. Exterior work will include painting, signage and parking lot repaving.
