I volunteered at one of our local food pantries, and unfortunately it had to close. So many families were affected by this close including myself who also rely on food assistance. That’s where we come in.

I’m starting Food Ministries of Hilo Hawaii to serve struggling families by donating food-filled bags and hosting monthly community days for children and families.

Right now, I’m building this nonprofit from the ground up — mostly from my phone.

I’m asking for help to raise $1,500 as a start-up to cover:

• A reliable used laptop to finish our website and organize outreach

• DCCA nonprofit registration fees

• Basic supplies to prepare our first round of food bags

• Tools like a domain, donation features, and printed materials

Whether its a one-time donation or monthly support every dollar brings us closer to helping Hilo families with love, dignity, and real support.
