Hi, I’m Ben Cole-Witkowski.
I’m taking on my very first marathon at the beginning of May.— the Milton Keynes Marathon — just before I undergo knee surgery. It’s going to be a huge challenge, but I wanted to push myself and do something meaningful at the same time.
I’m a member of Milton Keynes Sea Cadets, where around 70 of us aged 9–18 get the chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and take part in activities on the water. Being part of the cadets has been an amazing experience for me. I would like to give this experience back to others
I’m also really passionate about windsurfing, and I’d love to help bring more windsurfing opportunities to the cadets. That’s why I’m raising money to buy much-needed boating and windsurfing equipment.
This equipment will help us train properly, try new activities, and give more cadets the chance to get out on the water and build skills for life.
Training for a marathon isn’t easy, especially with knee surgery coming up, but knowing I’m doing it to support my fellow cadets will keep me going every step of the way.
Any support, big or small, would mean so much to me and all the other cadets.
Thank you so much for your support!
