In November, Fexco employees will do a virtual walk from Killorglin in County Kerry to Boma, in Tanzania, a distance of 12,100 kilometers (7519 miles) to support the Tir Na nOg Children's Foundation, founded by Louise Quill to addresses the urgent need for care and education for orphaned children in Tanzania.
Throughout November, Fexco staff will be active by walking, running, swimming or cycling. Every step counts! To register your steps, please check our post on Be@Fexco.
About Tir Na nOg - Established by Louise Quill in 2006 and caters for up to 60 orphaned and abandoned children in the Kilimanjaro region. To date we have built a primary school to educate up to 300 children in the wider community. All of our children are funded, via our child sponsorship programme, to further their education to degree stage. We are currently fundraising to build a new home for our children.
