Help Support Kaley, Ian, and Their Growing Family
Our dear friends Kaley and Ian are preparing to welcome a baby girl this fall, but an unexpected and serious health emergency has changed everything.
On June 12th, Kaley experienced what she described as the worst headache of her life, followed by intense vomiting. She was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a significant brain bleed caused by an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). After a week in the ICU, she is now home recovering, her cognitive abilities fully intact.
But the journey is far from over.
Since Kaley is pregnant with their second child, there is added complexity and urgency to her recovery. The rest of her pregnancy must be carefully managed with strict low-stress rest, and once their daughter is safely delivered, Kaley will undergo a surgical procedure to prevent this life-threatening condition from recurring.
All of this is happening while she and Ian are also caring for their sweet and spirited 2.5-year-old son, Noah and their furry friend Schvitz.
Why We're Raising Funds:
We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help ease the immense emotional, logistical, and financial strain Kaley and Ian are under right now. Our goal is to give them the breathing room they need to focus on what matters most: Kaley’s healing, a safe delivery, and caring for both of their children.
**Your donation will go directly toward:**
Childcare for Noah – ensuring he’s well cared for while Kaley rests and Ian supports the family
Childcare for their newborn daughter – helping lighten the load when Ian is managing care for Kaley, a newborn, and a toddler
Household support – from groceries to transportation, any contribution helps ease day-to-day stress
We know not everyone may be in a position to give, but **sharing this campaign** or sending a note of encouragement is just as valuable.
Thank you for being part of the village supporting Kaley, Ian, and their growing family during this incredibly vulnerable time. ❤️
