On May 24th, my sister’s lifelong dream went up in flames.
She’s a recent FIU graduate who worked for years to open her first restaurant with her husband. They poured in their savings, time, and hearts—renting a space, passing inspections, and finally opening the doors on what should’ve been the happiest day of their lives.
But just hours into the grand opening, a terrible explosion tore through the restaurant. Fire consumed everything. Her husband was still inside.
By some miracle, he survived. But the restaurant—their dream—was destroyed. Everything they worked for: gone in seconds.
My sister is devastated. She cries herself to sleep. The place she built from love, from sacrifice, is now ashes.
Please, if you can, help her rebuild. Anything helps. And if you can’t give, just sharing this could change her life.
Thank you for caring.
