I was shot 12 times on Christmas December 2023 I was robbed for my shoes. 12 shots cost me and my wife Merisha Beckham to be homeless are trying to get by with no money my wife lost five jobs this year because no one seems to care I have 17 surgeries altogether while having a newborn child he has daycare and pays $10 a week. Sometimes we don’t know how and where we will get the money from or no transportation to get him to school or no bed for I can schedule my surgery for to remove my bullet out of my back. It’s been really hard any help you can also check my stories out on Washington Post Shawn Wilkerson interview with Washington Post right now I am using my wife’s bank information because I currently don’t have a Birth Certificate have to pay for it

Wilkerson, 34, said the gunman fired multiple rounds into his left leg and torso in the apartment building on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue during what he believed to be a robbery attempt. Now, it is numb, and he sometimes uses a cane, he said. Police have not announced any arrests in the case. doctors inserted a rod in his shattered left arm, which aches in chilly air. Beckham said the arm feels colder than the rest of his body when he embraces her.
