Hi, my name is Ighsaan Mohamed, and I’m Zain’s nephew. I’ve felt a strong pull to do something meaningful to support someone who has shown incredible courage and determination to change his life.

Zain has faced more hardship than most—periods of homelessness, living in a shanty without electricity, and often going without consistent food. Finding stable work has been extremely difficult, and along the way he has endured exploitation and unfair treatment just to survive.

Despite all of this, he hasn’t given up. He took it upon himself to learn welding skills and is now ready to pursue formal training to become certified. This is a real opportunity for him to break out of the cycle he’s been trapped in and build a stable, dignified future.
