The Eclectic Farmstead / Eclectic Farmacy + D.K.C.: Honoring Loss, Growing Hope, and Healing Through Community — From Grief to Growth, Help Build a Healing Sanctuary in Western New York
Hi, my name is Jeanette Miller, founder of The Eclectic Farmstead LLC/ Eclectic Farmacy LLC and D.K.C. — a licensed New York State Micro-business rooted in healing, remembrance, and resilience.
This campaign isn’t just about building the microbusiness and local storefront. It’s about building a sanctuary for grief, mental health, and community connection — a place I needed when I had nothing left. I’ve spent years pouring everything I had into helping others, trying to heal, trying to build something with meaning. That journey came with deep personal sacrifice — the chance to have children of my own, and at times, the strength to keep going. Along the way, I’ve also mourned the devastating loss of loved ones — to addiction, violence, overdose, suicide, and broken systems that fail too many. This isn’t just about my loss; it’s about honoring theirs — and transforming all that pain into something that helps others feel seen, safe, and supported. This space is a tribute to those we’ve lost, and a commitment to those still here who deserve healing, hope, and a future.
Now, I’m rebuilding my 70 acre Permaculture Farmstead. My dream has never been just for me, but for everyone who’s ever felt forgotten, unsupported, or left behind. This isn’t just about creating this micro-business. It’s about wellness, grief, mental health, and giving meaning to pain. It's about honoring the life of Devon (NOVED) Budzinack, and every other name submitted through our community memorial program. This space will serve micro-business customers, yes — but it will also serve the people society often doesn’t: the grieving, the outcast, the neurodivergent, and those who believe in building something better out of pain.
But I can’t do it alone.
GOAL: $1,000,000
Your donation will fund:
Project Purpose
Retail Buildout/ Construction of a compliant, welcoming storefront (already approved by NYS OCM and by the Town of Newfane NY)
Cultivation Expansion/ Indoor and outdoor upgrades for premium flower production
Processing Lab/ Hydrocarbon extraction, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, flower and other flower products, packaging, etc.
D.K.C. Memorial Wall/ Space to honor lost lives with names submitted by community
Healing & Education Center/ Buildout of a Nonprofit community hub for grief support & holistic wellness
Why $1,000,000?
This gives us the power not just to survive — but to thrive, scale, and create lasting change in Western NY and beyond. We want to show that a Micro-business brand with heart and healing at its center can compete, inspire, and uplift.
✨ WHY THIS MATTERS
In a landscape dominated by corporations, social equity Micro-business startups like ours are underfunded and overlooked. We're not just building a business — we're building a movement.
Every dollar gets us closer to healing with purpose. Your support helps us create jobs, support local youth, and offer a safe space for expression and remembrance.
This is more than a Micro-business. It’s a space where:
Micro-business meets healing
Grief meets growth
Legacy meets legacy-building
And people who’ve lost everything find something worth believing in again
Every dollar helps us stop surviving and start building — not just for me, but for everyone I’ll serve through this vision. This is not just a Micro-business. This is grief turned into growth. Laughter turned into legacy. Trauma turned into transformation.
WHO SHOULD DONATE?
+People who believe in justice
+Those who’ve lost someone and want to dedicate their memory to something healing
+Angel investors, philanthropists, and donors looking to support women-led, neurodivergent-led, grief-informed, and social equity-focused NYS Micro-business ventures
+Supporters of mental health, restorative justice, and healing through plant medicine
I’ve poured everything into this dream. Now I need your help to give it life.
Please donate — even $5 helps — and if you can’t, share this with someone who can. This campaign is not just about money — it’s about movement, healing, and reclaiming purpose through community.
Let’s build something the world can’t ignore.
Let’s build something that lasts.
With love and resilience,
Jeanette Miller
