From Gaza To Safety: Help Rawan, Ahmed, baby Abboud Escape

Hi, my name is Madina Toshmukhamedova from USA, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Rawan and her husband, Ahmed. Rawan, unable to set up an account due to local restrictions, has entrusted me with this responsibility. I have personally verified their situation through a video chat, witnessing firsthand the devastating destruction, the buzzing sound of a surveillance drone, and the daily challenges they face.

Rawan is 27, pregnant with her first child. They were displaced multiple times. Currently they are sheltering in Rafah and Israeli army is expected to siege their home, at any moment. Help Rawan’s little family to Escape Gaza to find safety home. Any donation, big or small, will contribute to securing future for them.

Hello, I am Rawan Al-Jaidi, and together with my husband, Ahmed Al-Mashharawi, I am living through a nightmare in Gaza. As I write this, the sounds of explosions remind us of the urgency to leave, to seek a future where our unborn child, Abboud, can grow up in safety and peace.

Our story was about love, dreams, and now it’s about survival.

Ahmed, my husband, once a passionate lawyer and later a barber by necessity, has seen his dreams destroyed with the walls of his shop.

The home we built with years of hard work was destroyed in an instant, our cherished memories buried under the rubble.

I’m a pharmacist by profession and a student was about to finish my master’s in public health, have lost my pharmacy and the opportunity to complete my studies as the war on Gaza has left nothing but destruction.

Every corner of what was once our sanctuary now reminds us of what we’ve lost.

Our family has been displaced multiple times, with each displacement stripping away what little we had left. We now find ourselves in Rafah, where every day is a battle against despair. With no access to adequate medical care and the constant threat of violence, our situation is beyond horrible.

We need your help. We need to escape this war and reach safely to Egypt, not just to survive but to provide a chance for our child to live without fear. Your support can save our lives, the life of my unborn child from the bombing and violence.
