My name is Ibrahim, and I am a father from Gaza asking for your support for my daughter, Hayat.
Hayat is 14 years old and has spent much of her life fighting a serious congenital heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot. Since childhood, she has undergone multiple surgeries and medical procedures, showing extraordinary strength through years of pain and uncertainty.
Recently, Hayat underwent another major heart operation — an important step in her long struggle to survive. We are deeply grateful she made it through surgery, but our journey is far from over.
Before this latest battle, our family had already lost almost everything.
During the war in Gaza, we were displaced multiple times, forced to flee again and again in search of safety. Our family lost our home, our belongings, and the stability every family depends on. Like so many others, we survived repeated displacement carrying only what we could hold — and often only hope.
For a child already battling severe heart disease, living through war and repeated displacement has been especially devastating.
Hayat has lost much of her childhood to illness and conflict. Yet despite everything she has endured, she continues to fight.
Now we are trying to help her begin a new chapter — not only to recover after surgery, but to rebuild her future, return to school, and have the chance to live with dignity and hope.
This fundraiser will help support:
Ongoing medical treatment, medications, and follow-up care after surgery
Basic living needs as our family rebuilds after displacement
Educational support so Hayat can return to school
Stability and support as we try to start over after losing everything
Every contribution, no matter how small, is an investment in Hayat’s future.
Your support is not only helping a girl recover from heart disease — it is helping her heal, study, dream again, and move toward the life she deserves.
If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign would mean so much to us.
After everything she has survived — illness, war, repeated displacement, and loss — we still believe Hayat deserves a chance at a new beginning.
Thank you from our hearts.
Ibrahim and family
