Momin needs your help - from gaza

Hi, my name is Buthaina. I’m originally from Gaza but live in Australia. I’m organizing this fundraiser to support my friend Momin Ahmad Alihtiyati , a young Palestinian currently living with his parents and siblings in northern Gaza.

Momin and I have been in contact for some time, and he regularly shares updates with me about the worsening conditions his family is facing. I’m doing this on his behalf because he has no way to reach out to the world for help — but I do, and I want to use that voice to support him.

Momin and his family’s situation:

Momin, his parents, and siblings were displaced from their home due to the ongoing violence and now live in a fragile, makeshift tent. Their daily life is a constant struggle for survival.

• Access to food is incredibly limited, and what little is available is unbelievably expensive.

• Clean drinking water is nearly impossible to find.

• The family has no access to fuel, hygiene items, or medical care.

• They are exposed to the elements with no proper shelter, beds, or privacy.

This is not just poverty — this is survival in the middle of a humanitarian catastrophe.

The situation in Gaza:

For those who may not know, Gaza is under blockade, and the ongoing war has destroyed infrastructure and supply chains. Food prices have spiked — even basic items like flour and rice are now unaffordable for most families. Medicine is running out, and fuel is almost nonexistent.

Your support will go directly toward essentials like:

• Medicine and medical supplies

• A sturdier, more secure shelter

• Emergency hygiene and health items
