Recently we had the life-changing opportunity to travel with BuildOn, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and service. Our team traveled to San José Canihor, a small village in, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, where we worked hand-in-hand with the community to help lay the foundation for a new elementary school.

While the physical school is being built, we learned that the teachers and students still face a major hurdle: a lack of basic school supplies. Children are eager to learn, but their classroom will lack essential items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, chalk, erasers, and teaching materials.

We are staying in touch with the school via WhatsApp to ensure the materials reach the right hands and meet their needs.

Even small donations can make a huge difference. Together, we can help turn these empty classrooms into spaces of opportunity, inspiration, and growth.
