<div>Recently we had the life-changing opportunity to travel with BuildOn, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and service. Our team traveled to San José Canihor, a small village in, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, where we worked hand-in-hand with the community to help lay the foundation for a new elementary school.

<div>While the physical school is being built, we learned that the teachers and students still face a major hurdle: a lack of basic school supplies. Children are eager to learn, but their classroom will lack essential items such as notebooks, pens, pencils, chalk, erasers, and teaching materials.

<div>We are staying in touch with the school via WhatsApp to ensure the materials reach the right hands and meet their needs.

</div>
