Caudill’s Electric, a beloved local business and a true staple of our town, has just suffered a devastating fire. Their building, which has stood for an incredible 128 years, is now badly damaged — and our hearts are heavy for the Caudill family.

They had just returned home from a long-awaited and well-deserved vacation in Italy, only to be met with unimaginable loss. As someone who grew up with the Caudill’s, I can tell you: they are the kind of people who show up for others. Quietly. Humbly. Generously. Never asking for anything in return.

When I first started Shining Through the Storm, they were the very first to support me. Their sponsorship came without hesitation, without conditions, and without ever asking for recognition. That’s just who they are — giving without expectation.
