From Fire to Home: Bergsma Recovery Fund

Hi. Our names are Paige, Summer A. and Summer M. and we are fundraising for our best friend Kyra and her family.

On August 28th at 1130pm, our two best friends and one of their stepmoms were returning home from a fun night at a concert. They drove up their street on Lewis Avenue to see their home engulfed in flames. Thankfully, all the pets were able to make it out safely, including their dog who just had puppies earlier that day. Yet, virtually everything else in the house was lost leaving this family of five devastated.

We've all been best friends for 7 plus years. We are all just about to go into our grade 12 year. This is the year where we are able to live our final high school experiences. Being able to go to prom and go on the grad cruise was the most of our worries. Now this incident is the worse we've had to deal with. We will always support our friends through thick and thin which is why we decided create this GoFundMe fundraiser for our amazing friend who is the sweetest girl one could meet.
