Hi, my name is Jolie, and I never expected my home to become a safe haven — but when four children showed up with nowhere else to go, I knew I couldn’t turn them away.

Today, I’m raising three amazing kids — ages 17, 15, and 11— who were abandoned, neglected, and left without anyone to care for them. Each of them carries the scars of being forgotten — not just physically, but emotionally. They’ve seen things no child should ever see, and they’ve had to grow up far too soon.

When they first arrived, they were quiet, cautious, and afraid. They flinched at kindness and didn’t know how to believe that someone might actually stay. I made them a promise that night:

“You’re safe now. You’re home. And you’re loved.”

Since then, my small home has become a refuge — filled with laughter, late-night talks, and healing tears. But it’s also been a struggle. As a single parent, I’m doing everything I can — working, caring, praying — but providing for four growing children, each with their own emotional and physical needs, has become overwhelming.

Every day brings a new challenge:

• Therapy appointments for trauma recovery.

• School fees, clothes, and backpacks.

• Endless meals that disappear as fast as they’re made.

I don’t have all the answers, but I have faith — and love — and I believe that with a little help, we can give these children the stable, hope-filled life they deserve.
