Hello, my name is Christian, and I am the proud father of Malte, a wonderful little boy born in March 2025.
This fundraiser is not just about my son and me. It is about something much bigger: justice, equality, and the right of every child to have their father present in their life.
Right now, a system is telling us that my son should grow up hours away from me, not because of anything Malte has done, not because I am unfit as a father, but simply because of bureaucracy and a lack of institutions for his mother, who struggles with mental health.
Instead of helping to build and strengthen the bond between father and son, the system is trying to make it impossible.
Why This Case Matters
- For Children → No child should lose the presence of their father just because of technicalities or bureaucracy.
- For Fathers → Too often, fathers are treated as secondary parents, even when they fight with all their heart for their children.
- For Disabled People → I live with autism, and like many disabled parents, I often face prejudice instead of fair treatment. But disabilities must never mean that our voices as parents are ignored.
- For People of All Faiths and Backgrounds → In a just society, every person—no matter their religion, culture, or identity—should be equally heard and respected in court.
Our Goal
I am ready to fight this case as far as necessary – to the highest courts in Germany if needed. This is not only about Malte, but about setting an example in Germany that:
- Children have the right to both parents.
- Fathers must be treated equally.
- People with disabilities must be heard and respected.
- People of all religions and backgrounds deserve justice without prejudice.
This case could become a precedent – one that protects countless families in the future.
