Help Me Represent Filipina Excellence on the Miss Philippines USA Stage
Hi! My name is Amelia Arabe, and I’m honored to share that I’m a candidate for Miss Philippines USA 2025.
I recently graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering from Loyola University Maryland, and my journey has always been about bridging worlds—culture and innovation, fashion and advocacy, heritage and the future.
I carry with me the values that have shaped me:
Humility, Compassion, Bayanihan (community spirit), Authenticity, and Discipline. These guide my every step—not just in the pageant world, but in the work I do as a STEM graduate, creative, and community advocate.
Why I’m Competing
Miss Philippines USA is more than a crown. It’s a platform to amplify our voices, celebrate identity, and spark meaningful change. I’m using this opportunity to elevate the stories of Filipina women in STEM and entrepreneurship, celebrate multicultural identity, and advocate for education and health equity.
My Advocacy Includes:
• Filipina empowerment in STEM and entrepreneurship
• Creating space for multicultural identity expression
• Accessible education for underprivileged youth
• Sustainable fashion as power, culture, and identity
• BIPOC women’s health, cancer research, and biomedical engineering
Introducing: Library of Morenita
My goal is not just to win, but to construct a platform that empowers others to rise with me. Through my own startup, Library of Morenita, I am building a digital and print magazine company that honors curiosity, cultivates confidence, and expands the mind.
At its heart, it is a growing community of artists, thinkers, and visionaries—especially people of color—who believe in the power of knowledge, cultural storytelling, and creative expression.
A Home for Ideas and Identity
Library of Morenita is designed to help people go deeper into the ideas that spark their interest, to turn inspiration into understanding, and to encourage the kind of art that shapes culture and preserves heritage.
It is about mastering the game of life with wisdom from the past, clarity in the present, and imagination for the future. This initiative is a key part of my long-term advocacy and a reflection of what I hope to represent on the national stage.
Why This Pageant Truly Matters
This pageant is not just about a crown. It is about community, visibility, and voice.
It is about showing up for one another with passion and poise, and carving out space where our stories are seen and heard. As a proud Filipina, I believe in the power of representation—especially for Southeast Asian women in engineering, fashion, education, and medicine.
There is no one way to look Filipina. Our diversity is our strength. From skin tone to dialect, from island to diaspora, we are a global people with deeply rooted stories. I am here to celebrate that complexity, to reflect the richness of our culture, and to open doors for the next generation of girls who look like me.
Why I Need Your Help
Pageants are an investment, and I’m reaching out for support to help cover the journey ahead. Your generosity will help fund:
• Pageant registration and professional training
• Wardrobe, hair, and makeup
• Photoshoots and promotional materials
• Development and promotion of my advocacy campaign
With your help, I can step onto that stage fully prepared—not just to compete, but to represent every young Filipina who dreams beyond borders.
Let’s Walk This Journey Together
Whether it’s $5, $50, or a simple share, your support means the world to me. Thank you for believing in my vision and standing with me as we create a more visible, vibrant, and united future for our community.
Maraming salamat po.
