I am reaching out to you today with a matter of utmost importance, one that is close to my heart and that of my family.

My daughter, Paulina, is going through a difficult time. She is in the middle of a custody battle for her beloved daughter, Amelia. As a mother myself, I can only imagine how heart-wrenching this must be for her.

Paulina has been Amelia's primary caregiver for most of her 6 years of life. And let me tell you, she has done an outstanding job! Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, when everything seemed uncertain and scary, Paulina has been there for Amelia, ensuring that she was safe and healthy.

After enduring a tumultuous relationship and difficult divorce, she has found new love and happiness with her fiancé, Larry. They have both sacrificed so much to nurture this long-distance relationship for the past few years and are ready to move forward in this new chapter.

Larry's family has welcomed Paulina and Amelia with open arms and with this union, they will create a blended family, and Amelia will finally have the brothers and sisters she has grown to love as part of her life. As her mother, I couldn’t be any happier for these two.

However, there is a financial hurdle in her way. To cover her legal fees, Paulina needs to raise $25K. The heartbreaking truth is that without proper legal representation to help her navigate the relocation process, Paulina's ability to remain the primary custodial parent of Amelia is at risk. As a mother, I can't imagine the thought of being forced to live apart from your child, especially after everything Paulina has sacrificed and worked for to ensure Amelia's safety and well-being.

On the flip side if she stays, with the cost of living being increasingly difficult, and her mother (that's me!) relocating out of the country to help with her own mother's recovery after heart surgery, Paulina won't have the same level of support she currently has. This makes the need for her to relocate even more pressing.

The legal fees associated with this process are substantial, and my daughter is struggling to cover these costs on her own. That's why we are reaching out to our friends and family, to help support her in this journey. With your support, we can make it possible for Paulina and Amelia to start a new life together.
