Supporting communities in Jamaica

On 28 October, Jamaica was struck by a Category 5 hurricane, the most powerful in its history. Around 75% of the country was severely affected, with many people losing their homes, belongings, and livelihoods. Nearly three weeks later, some communities are still without electricity, food, or access to essential supplies. Flooding and landslides have made many roads impassable, leaving thousands in urgent need of help.
Having lived in Jamaica myself, and having family who haver lived through this, I understand how devastating such events can be. Although I have never experienced a storm of this scale, the images and stories from friends and family have been heartbreaking. The scale of the loss, and the long road to recovery, have inspired me to act.
I have decided to raise funds to support some of the most vulnerable people affected by this disaster. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference to families who are struggling to rebuild their lives.
If you’re able to help, please consider supporting or sharing my fundraising appeal on social media so that we can reach as many people as possible. Together, we can make a small but meaningful difference to those who need it most.
Thank you for your support.
