Welcome to the crowd source fundraising efforts by the #FriendsofPeteRicci #RicciStrong #LegacyinLightsScoreboard for our community.

With the support and approval of the Tredyffrin Board of Supervisors and Parks & Recreation, the lower softball field at D'Ambrosia park will be named after Pete Ricci, a  beloved Tredyffrin resident, teacher and coach (softball and basketball) for over 27 years and passed in late 2019.  There will be a ceremony May 8th at 12 PM, we hope you can attend. 

To highlight the field, there will be a plaque, a new sign on the backstop, and with your help, a new scoreboard. The total cost of the scoreboard is approximately $15,000; to-date we have privately raised close to $10,000. We are now reaching out to the community-at-large (friends, parents, neighbors, colleagues, former students and athletes ) asking for gifts or donations to meet our goal of an additional $5,000  - $10,000 by the end of April 2021 to finalize the purchase of the scoreboard and installation. 

All donations, large and small, are welcome. The #LegacyinLightsScoreboard at "Pete Ricci Field" will be in recognition of the best that is inherent in us all and to honor the memory of Pete. We thank you for your donation.
