Critical Exposure works with Black and Brown youth to transform DC communities and schools into safe, resource-connected places that are liberated from social, political, and economic barriers. They do this through youth organizing, storytelling, and leveraging the power of photography. Over the course of its short history, the youth of CE have helped to secure $200 million annually for public school modernization, a commitment to allocate $4 million for homeless youth services, improved graduation rates in DC, and introduced financial literacy standards in schools. CE is capable of supporting incredible positive changes for our city’s kids, while being a small enough organization that they will feel a direct impact from your donation.
