Friends of Yale College Democrats

The Yale College Democrats are intentional advocates for progressive change in New Haven, Connecticut, and across the country. They support causes that advance equal justice, human dignity, and the empowerment of historically marginalized communities. In 2022, they helped pass 16 bills into law in the Connecticut state legislature, elect 5 candidates in battleground states across the country, contact 26,000 Yale students with key voter registration information, and support 8 local New Haven alders and activist organizations. As a diverse and inclusive group of students who welcome individuals from all backgrounds, they recognize the long-standing and pre-existing efforts led by students, organizers, and advocates. This fundraiser supports educational and outreach efforts to help the Yale College Democrats fulfill their mission.
