Help Us Support St. Johns County Drug Court Graduates!
Be a part of changing lives in our community!
The St. Johns County Friends of the Drug Court is a volunteer-driven group dedicated to supporting individuals who are working hard to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives through our local Drug Court program. We believe in second chances, and with your help, we can make a real difference.
What We Do
Our mission is simple: support, encourage, and believe in the success of Drug Court participants and graduates. Here’s how we help:
- Celebrating Achievements: We attend Drug Court graduations to cheer on participants as they reach important milestones.
- Providing Positive Alternatives: We organize healthy, drug-free activities like bowling nights, cookouts, and more.
- Spreading Joy: At the holidays, we create special Christmas stockings filled with uplifting messages and gift cards.
- Offering Practical Support: We help with essentials like job interview clothes, transportation, rent assistance, hobby supplies, and covering court or probation fees—removing barriers to lasting recovery.
Why Your Help Matters
The St. Johns County Drug Court is a Judge-led program for non-violent individuals facing drug-related felony charges. Participants undergo treatment, counseling, regular court check-ins, and strict supervision—all designed to break the cycle of addiction and crime.
Graduates have worked incredibly hard to turn their lives around, but the journey doesn’t end at graduation. Many still face challenges like finding work, stable housing, and staying drug-free. Even small setbacks can threaten their progress.
That’s where YOU come in.
Your donation helps us provide the encouragement and practical support these individuals need to build stable, healthy, and productive lives. Funds for needs such as: costs associated with obtaining ID and replacing lost documents, baby car seats, motorcycle helmets, transportation costs, educational and licensing expenses, duplicate keys when lost or stolen, and other practical expenses in addition to the joyful sober activities set up by our program alumni!
Make a Difference Today
Most of us know someone affected by addiction. By supporting Friends of the Drug Court, you’re not just helping individuals—you’re strengthening our entire community.
Please donate today and help us give hope, stability, and a fresh start to those who need it most.
Thank you for your generosity!
