Hi Friends and family, I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist and I have the pleasure
of working with some awesome children in my field. Many of the children I work with have
special needs and are raised by parents that never get a break or time for themselves. Raising a child with special needs comes with many joys, but there is no doubt it can be challenging
and, at times, exhausting. Many parents put aside their own physical and mental health,
partners, friends, hobbies, and interests to solely focus on their child. Though it is easy to
forget, it is important to keep in mind that to take the best possible care of a loved one
with special needs, you must take care of yourself. My dream is to create a safe and fun
space for parents to bring their children so they can have a short break to go to their own
doctor appointments, go out with their spouse or a friend, rest, or do something just for them.
Please help to make this dream a reality by donating to secure the Federal and State of
Georgia Tax-exempt status to become a non-profit 501c3 organization.
Any amount is appreciated.
