On Friday, February 25th, 2022 at approximately 10:45pm, SIXTEEN families were tragically forced out of their homes as the apartment complex of 2300 and 2306 Anthony Lane caught fire. The fire burned throughout the night and into Saturday morning destroying all property inside all sixteen apartments. All of these Racine families had a complete loss, including several family pets, and are starting from the bare basics of life all over again. The Racine Police Department Community Oriented Policing (COP) Unit is heading up collection efforts to assist these families as they begin to look for new housing, clothing, household items, family pets, and many many more necessities. Please consider donating as each and every dollar raised will be put into the hands of the families displaced from this tragedy.
