Canal Community Boat

David Posnett has bought a narrowboat to help him and his volunteers look after the canal on the Paddington arm and as far as West Drayton.

He bought the 1981-built 30ft boat Ammonite  out of his own pocket. It will carry litter-picking equipment and collected rubbish, provide refreshments to their volunteers, carry tinned food to distribute to the rough sleepers they see on the towpath, 

This fundraiser is purely towards his expenses to run the boat.
