Friends of Crescent Pond

In 1986 high water blew a hole in the County Road "O" south of Green Castle Bridge. This prevents water from filling Crescent Pond and Severely restricts the nesting and breeding area for waterfowl and other birds in the area. It also restricts the access and oppurtunity for waterfowling in the area. Friends of Crescent Pond are raising this money to donate to the Iowa DNR to begin work on reparing the blow to the Road. Funds raised will be used to build control  structures that will regulate the water level of Crescent Pond.
