Friends of Christ Church graveyard, Todmorden

We are an unincorporated community group seeking to raise money to help restore this graveyard to a community space where people can pay their respects to the inhabitants while also learning about the history of Todmorden. We're raising money to go towards fixing subsidence issues, levelling spaces to make them more accessible and safe for all ages, health and safety training for group members so we can maintain the graveyard and fix issues at short notice, providing support to volunteers who want to "adopt a grave", creating guided tours of the graveyard to highlight the stories of those buried there, and various tools such as noticeboards, plaques, and a website (so that those unable to attend in person can see tour content and grave information). All monies raised will go towards these aims and we will provide updates as we go along, as transparency is important to us. Thank you for supporting us in our goals!
