Dear friends, as we are aware, Hurricane Otis has devasted our beloved Acapulco, killing dozens and leaving the majority of the city severely damaged. We all have this amazing place in common and share a feeling of incredible sadness! Our numerous visits have allowed us to come to know the wonderful people of Acapulco who welcome us back year after year and graciously make Acapulco our second home. Unfortunately, we are now learning that many of same people have lost literally everything! It is hard to feel so useless here in the US while our extended families are suffering so much!!

While we remain hopeful that we can make our annual Acapulco trip, this time to roll up our sleeves and do whatever we can to help, until then, we will help Acapulco the only way we can; with generous donations from the Friends of Acapulco. Your donations will be managed by a trusted friend who will in turn distribute this much needed assistance. Our mission is to provide a little help to our Acapulco friends and their families so that they may endure this very difficult time while they rebuild their lives.
