Friends in High Rock Places

Want to join me in making a difference? This summer I had a chance to join friends on a campout at Fly Ranch in the Black Rock Desert hosted by Friends of Black Rock High Rock.  It was sublime! While there  I learned about this non-profit that does so much to protect, educate and preserve this 1.2 million acre National Conservation Area by hosting Fly Ranch nature walks, campouts, site stewardships, conservation projects and clean-ups--all with a staff of two!

This non-profit is able to do what it does through volunteers, memberships and supporters. 

More now than ever conservation groups supporting and preserving public lands need our help.

Annually Friends of Black Rock hosts a Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Reno. This is their primary fundraising event of the year. Please help me in raising money to support this important fundraising festival.
