Freyas Fight

Donation protected

Freya is an 10 year old girl fighting a high grade osteosarcoma in her leg, this is a primary bone cancer which causes a lot of discomfort and pain. Not only is she amazingly brave for undergoing all the different treatments this entails, such as chemotherapy which has many side effects such as hair loss, mouth sores, loss of appetite, nausea and many more. Freya will also under go surgery to try to remove the tumour once shrunk and could mean potentially the loss of her limb.

Despite this Freya has chosen to donate her hair to 'The Princess Trust' after her first chemotherapy session to help children like herself so it can be used to make wigs, being a young girl loosing your hair is devastating.

We have started this donation page to raise money to help with continual costs travelling from Kent to the University College London Hospital, also for a deposit towards a car suitable to transport Freya and her wheelchair.

Due to where the tumour is sited Freya is very limited in her mobility this means using a wheelchair most of the time. The family do not own a vehicle suitable for wheelchair access meaning not only are they going through this awful time they now need to find the funds for a deposit.

Any donation big or small will be gratefully received to help Freya and her family through this difficult, unknowing time and towards her ongoing journeys for treatment thank you.
