Freya’s 12,000 ft Skydive Fundraiser

On the 9th of May I’m skydiving from 12,000 ft to raise money for the Bromley and Orpington Samaritans and also for my Year 13 Prom. The skydive includes a 40 second free fall which will be unlike anything I have ever experienced before.

1 in 4 people struggle with their mental health, something that’s impacted my family with the loss of my Uncle Steve in 2016. Supporting local Samaritans can save not only someone’s life, but also save families from experiencing the devastating effects of losing someone they love.

On the 26th June it is my school’s year 13 leavers prom which is a highlight for all students and a chance to celebrate our achievements together while also saying goodbye. As Head Girl, it’s my responsibility alongside the student leadership team to fully finance the Prom through fundraising and ticket sales.

All funds raised from my skydive will be split between the Orpington and Bromley Samaritans and the Prom fund.
