For the past five and a half years, I was in a controlling and unhealthy relationship. It took a lot of courage, but I finally found the strength to leave and put myself first. Now, I'm trying to rebuild my life from the ground up, but I wasn't able to take anything with me when I left. Starting over is tough, and I am facing a lot of challenges as I try to find a safe place to live and begin again.

I am raising money to help cover the security deposit for a new apartment, which is the first step toward having a stable home.
