The FR. Simpliciano Children's Home is a child-caring institution located at Lourdes Grotto - San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines, catering to children in need of special protection.
This is no normal children's home; the children (43 at present) have been abandoned or rescued from sexual and physically abusive environments.
We are an informal group of Christian Ex Pat Philippine residents who donate and deliver food supplies monthly to the home. We also provide materials for their schooling needs. Sadly, the refrigerator is now broken down and the freezer is too small and not in good repair.
We are raising funds for a new upright freezer/refrigerator and enough food to fill them both. This will be delivered in July
The FR. Simpliciano Children's Home Inc. is a home managed by Franciscan Sisters working alongside an incredible team of professionals and volunteers.
It was registered as a non-stock, non-profit corporation by the Securities & Exchange Commission in September 1990 and was licensed to operate by the Department of Social Welfare & Development in the Philippines as a child-caring institution on July 1st, 2014.
They are not just statistics, they are real girls in a need of a place where they can heal, be loved and free from fear. The girls are thriving in this environment, where they feel safe, loved and heard.
Please consider opening your heart and contributing to our campaign. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of the girls who deserve every chance of a happy and healthy childhood. It’s an investment in their future, a promise they are not alone and a testament to the power of compassion
Thank you in advance for any help and support. Any small amount makes a world of difference. 100% of the funds received will go to purchasing the freezer/refrigerator and food supplies. If you are unable to donate, your prayers for these girls would be appreciated. Please share with your friends.
Our last campaign raised funds for Christmas so every child received a Christmas gift, educational supplies, clothing, footwear and a new washing machine (theirs was broken) The joy this brought to the children and volunteers was overwhelming.
