Karlie Hart Here. Thanks for checking in on my fundraiser.

In the Winter of 2024, I ended up located in a remote homeless shelter. Without much access to affordable tech, I found myself scraping by on every plug (functional or not) I could find.

It was then I realized that the concept of technology, and access to your own computer, as well as unblocked access to a Freeware & Content Organized Internet is once again a human right.

Too many times, I have found that my own content has been frozen out by Jailbroken Apple Products, where I find myself unable to charge a phone or device due to a poor plug malfunction. I can't often drop $2000 on a new phone.

When I was in the homeless shelter, I really developed a care and access point for the need for more basic technological products for teaching, and for quick and easy re-integration. Despite likely being more than capable of it, the shelter had two laptops, and no desks - for over 130 people.

It was then I decided I was going to want to fundraise for a Chromebook Cart again.

Thanks for making sure this fundraiser ends up ten times past its goal - there's always a school that needs a new set of Chromebooks - and I want each kid to be able to take theirs home ; agenda-style.
