I am taking on the challenge of a lifetime : a sixday climb of the world's highest free standing mountain, Mount
Kilimanjaro at 19,341 feet or 5,895m, to honor victims of human trafficking and to support the work of International Justice Mission - a global organisation working to stop slavery and violence.
Your investment supports every grueling feet I am taking on Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise the necessary funds for victims of trafficking.
Here is what your donation will support:
- Climbing gear including hiking backpacks, climbing and hiking shoes, insulation for sleeping, base layers, warm layer apparel and rain gear. (Fun fact - I am traveling through five different climate zones from rainforest to moorlands and the finale - traversing glaciers at the arctic zone!)
- Costs for local mountain guides and team
- Flight costs
- Support for International Justice Mission and our shared vision of ending human trafficking worldwide.
Here is an idea of what you can make possible!
50 CHF = one therapy session for a survivor person
1,000 CHF = several weeks of investigative work
8,000 CHF = one full rescue operation
