Who Are We?
We’re Freedom Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and we are dedicated to building more than just strength and technique — we’re building a community. Our group brings together people of all ages and backgrounds, united by a shared love for martial arts and personal growth.
Why Are We Raising Funds?
Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive space where we can train, support each other, and welcome newcomers into the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. We believe that everyone should have access to a supportive training environment, regardless of experience or financial background.
What Do We Need?
We're currently fundraising to:
- Provide 15 Gi and No-Gi uniforms for newcomers and trial sessions.
- Support underprivileged individuals by covering the cost of insurance, competition fees, and other BJJ-related expenses.
Your support will help us break down barriers and open doors for those who might not otherwise have the chance to train.
Why Does This Matter?
We want everyone to have a chance to experience the positive impact of the Freedom Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu family — especially local youth and those facing financial hardship.
How to Support?
There are lots of ways to contribute!
- Sponsor a participant – £15 covers insurance
- Donate a Gi – £50 helps outfit a new student
- Pledge per mile – e.g., £1 per mile walked
- Give any amount that works for you — every pound helps!
100% of donations go toward making BJJ more inclusive, accessible, and empowering for our community. Every contribution — big or small — brings us one step closer to building the space our community needs.
