Free Trương Minh Đức: Support Human Rights

My name is Anthony Lê Thanh Tùng, a Vietnamese-American human rights advocate living in Illinois. I am raising funds to support a peaceful, international campaign to demand the release of Mr. Trương Minh Đức – a former journalist, Catholic believer, and labor rights defender who is serving a 12-year prison sentence in Vietnam for nonviolent activism.

Since 2017, Mr. Đức has been unjustly imprisoned by the Vietnamese communist regime for assisting factory workers, advocating for independent unions, and standing up for human dignity.

In May 2025, I launched a campaign of:

✅ Sending 10 formal letters to U.S. leaders and global human rights organizations (President Donald J. Trump, members of Congress, USCIRF, HRW, Freedom House...)

✅ Compiling legal profiles and evidence of persecution

✅ Preparing public materials and press releases

✅ Organizing community mobilization events and follow-up advocacy
