Free Music Program Needs Your Support

At the heart of our vibrant Pine Island community lies a unique opportunity to ignite creativity, foster connection, and inspire a lifelong love for music—the Monday Music Program at the Beacon of Hope. Created by local musicians and artists Warren and Gregory Van Kirk, this free, weekly program opens its doors every Monday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, welcoming people of all ages to explore the joy of music in a warm, encouraging environment.

Unlike traditional music lessons, the Monday Music Program is a Musical Experience where participants—from curious two-year-olds to seasoned adults—pick up instruments like guitars, drums, xylophones, and horns to discover their own musical voice. Warren and Gregory, founders of the beloved band Strange Arrangement, guide each participant with patience and passion, helping them uncover the magic of music without the pressure of perfection. Whether it’s a child strumming their first chord or an adult rediscovering a long-forgotten talent, the program creates moments of awakening that resonate far beyond the music room.
