Who are we and why are we raising funds?
We are ARS 2.0, a Social Promotion Association based in Rome, committed to supporting the integration of migrants through language education and social inclusion projects.
We are raising funds to offer a free Italian language course to migrants and asylum seekers from African and Middle Eastern countries. For many of them, learning Italian is a fundamental step to access rights, services, work opportunities, and to fully participate in Italian society.
How will the funds be used?
The project consists of a three-month Italian language course running from March to June, for a total of 80 hours over 13 weeks. Lessons will take place four times per week, each lasting 90 minutes.
The funds raised will be used to cover the following costs:
Teaching costs:
- The course will be taught by a qualified Italian language teacher.
Cost: €40 gross per hour (€25 net), for a total of 80 hours.
Classroom rental:
- The course will take place in a dedicated learning space.
Cost: €1,520 total, calculated at €19 per hour.
CELI certification exam fees:
- At the end of the course, students will take the CELI exam from the University for Foreigners of Perugia:
A2 level (required for long-term residence permit)
B1 level (required for Italian citizenship)
Exam fee: €120 per student, for a total of €1,200–1,440 for 10–12 students.
In addition to the educational activities, the entire project will be documented and shared through our social media platforms (YouTube , Instagram ) and on our website (www.ars20.org), always respecting the privacy of participants. This will allow donors to follow the full learning journey and see the real impact of their support on the students’ path toward integration.
