So… here I am on the edge off a plane 15,00ft in the sky to jump out of it. !!!
A totally crazy, menopausal woman clearly having a midlife crisis though I will be strapped to a very hunky Australian instructor (silver linings and all ).
I’ve been lucky enough to go on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia, and me and two other amazing girls have decided to make it truly unforgettable by throwing ourselves out of a plane… for charity. Because why not!
I've chosen the Dementia UK charity for a very personal reason.
Like so many people, I’ve had loved ones who have passed away, and through my work I see first-hand how dementia affects clients past and present — and the families who love them. The heartbreak, the exhaustion, the helplessness… it’s a disease that touches far more people than we realise.
This jump is my way of saying “we see you, we support you, and you’re not alone.”
One giant step out of a plane to help fund specialist nurses and support for families who need it most.
Every penny raised will go directly to Dementia UK to support their incredible work — today, tomorrow, and for future generations.
Thank you so much for reading, donating, sharing, or simply cheering me on.
And yes… I absolutely cannot back out now — I’ve said I’ll do it for charity
EEEKKKK!!!
Wish me luck and yes that picture will probably be a very true likeness when I jump
