Free faceshields for healthcare workers
Donation protected
All face-shields are donated to healthcare workers such as nurses, doctors, dentists and for those in need.
Please contact me if you need them or if you know someone who are in need of these items. Right now, I could provide 5 units per order for a healthcare worker, and 2 for lower priority needs.
All donations will be used to buy more materials to produce more faceshields.
HOW THEY ARE MADE:
I make them at home using office supply transparent films and a plastic frames printed from our 3d printer.

Use an office puncher to create 6 holes on the transparent plastic sheet.

Cut-off the corner edges.

The solid plastic crown parts are created by a 3d printer, it takes about 1 hour for the printer to complete each unit.

The transparent plastic shields then attached to the plastic crown part with some tension to hold it tight in place.

Currently, with one 3d-printer running from 7am to 10pm daily, I could make 15 units a day. Each unit costs about $0.50.
